Legal Problems
I told my kids, when they grew up,
They could not lawyers be,
Or else I’d disinherit them
And no more would I see.
But I forgot to mention that
They could not marry one.
But she, though lawyer, is okay -
The one that’s wed my son.

* She’s more than okay. She’s terrific
like my other daughter-in-law. Here’s
to Kevin and Betty, whose wedding I
performed 2/23/13.

What a sweet tribute to your daughter-in-law. So glad you have two of them that you love. It makes all the difference for everyone involved. Glad you got to perform the wedding too.
Hurray! A dandy verse celebrating a grand union. My dad performed our wedding, too, and I can attest that that is about the best gift you can have given!
I’m sure he must have been as pleased to perform your wedding as I was to perform theirs.
Well it’s handy if you ever need a lawyer Dennis (let’s hope not). She better give you a reduced rate.
A bit late but congratulations to you and the happy couple.
Thanks. I suppose a lawyer receives as many questions from friends and family as a doctor does.
