Said the mother to the princess as she sat upon a pea,
“It’s time to take your vitamin since you are only three.”
Said the princess in an instant to her mother in reply,
“I think that I’m allergic to a vitamin.” Oh, my!
Said the princess to a little lad, whose sister wouldn’t play,
At the playground of a fast food place one early summer day,
“My name is Tess and I am nice and I’ll go ride with you.”
They left the sister on the seat; their friendship quickly grew.
Said the mother to the princess on the way back home from church,
“You’ve gotten angry so you’ve left your lesson in the lurch.
Be slow to anger was the verse.” Said princess, “I’ve been slow.”
Tess continued her reply, “And now I’m angry, don’t you know?”
Said the PawPaw to the mother and the father when he heard,
“You’ve got your hands quite full with your tiny little bird.
You’ll have to stay up nights to stay ahead of Princess Tess,
And even then, it won’t be long, till she’s ahead, I guess.”
