Sunflowers
I drive by –
Look at me! But they
Stare at sun.
——————–
They worship,
Following each move
Of their god.
——————–
Even dress
Imitating him.
Yellow star.

* The haiku I write are lines of 3-5-3 syllables instead of 5-7-5.

Love these, Dennis, wonderful summertime Haiku! 🙂
Thank you. Sunflowers do fill a lot of fields in the summer.
beautiful!!
Thanks!
Really good. And I LOVE sunflowers. Also, I just came across two terrific public domain photos of sunflowers that I used for a project recently. If you think you’d like to have them for future use, let me know, and I can e-mail them to you.
Yes, you can email them to me if you wish. Thanks. Dennis

Excellent! (Forgive the brevity of my comments, Dennis. I am in the middle of editing my novel for publication, but wanted you to know I was around and enjoying your posts as much as ever.)
Thanks. Glad you stopped by to visit and I hope your novel does well.
