A Sight To Behold
Your feathers:
All eyes upon you
The peacock.
——————–
His Highness
Shouldn’t she,
Instead of he, have
Flowing train?
——————–
Lady Peacock
Human she
More than makes up for
Her drabness.
——————–
God’s Exquisite Detail
Artistry
In just one feather
Then, the whole!

Very nice! I like the first two best. And I have always felt a little aggravated that in the animal kingdom the male is the one that gets all the beautiful colors. That is soooooooo unfair! I’ll be interested in finding out from the Lord if that was His original plan or if it is just another of the results of the curse in the world after sin got involved.
Thanks. That coloration advantage of males in nature is why I wrote the 3rd one, indicating that the females of the human species manage to tilt the scales back to even (and we’re glad). 🙂
