We’ve had an abnormal amount of rain here in Illinois the past few weeks as well. We also hit 7.5 inches last week, but I don’t think we made it to the 8.2. You win!
Our last that pushed us to the brimming top over you 🙂 was yesterday when it was pouring just as the first day of school was about to start. Our average rainfall here is 32″ and we hit that this month already. So, it’s been a good year. I like rain and storms. 🙂
