………..All Disappear

In one brief moment, coming soon,
…The setting sun will go
And beckon to the waiting moon
…To take his place and glow.

And shortly after sun has set,
…The walker and the wings
Will see the night in dark regret
…And pack, for night, their things.

In one brief moment for the three,
…Three moments – one for each,
They in this form will cease to be,
…And in their place, a breach.

Perhaps the cosmos will exist,
…Past this three’s sure demise
But certainly, it’s on the list;
…Make ready your goodbyes.
