Fit To Be Tide
Washed ashore
A crown befitting
The sea’s king.

Yard’s surface
Recent surgery –
Green skin grafts.

The Dry Rain
A fall flood,
And the trees stand in
Sea of leaves.

* The haiku I write are lines of 3-5-3 syllables instead of 5-7-5.
