* The haiku I write are lines of 3-5-3 syllables instead of 5-7-5.

See Haiku article here for explanation, if needed: https://thebardonthehill.wordpress.com/2011/08/08/haiku/

I’ve decided to torture my readers once a month with my wacky sense of humor that sometimes comes out in a poem.  This is that once a month.  When I started this as a new post, I wrote at the bottom of the poem, “Sorry, but sometimes I just can’t help it.”  I’ve decided to move that line to the top of the post and talk a lot about almost nothing to wind up with enough words at the top of the post so that all the poem (since it is a wee poem) isn’t visible to begin with.  Now, THAT is deliberate torture.  🙂

   A Wee Poem

         Wee!
         Wee
         as it
         began,
         a pome

         Wee!
         Wee
         as it
         grew,
         like foam.

         Wee!
         Wee
         as it
         went
         to Nome.

         Wee!
         Wee
         as it
         halted
         its roam.

         Wee
         Wee
         Wee
         all the
         way home.
