I’d like to wear a mask that I might yawn
Unseen at that which others drool and fawn.
Till there’s a costume ball that I go to,
The finest poker face will have to do.

It’s rude but I cannot stop yawning,
My lip that is upper, an awning.
My jaws won’t behave;
Mouth open, a cave.
Sun’s setting, but sleep is now dawning.

             Read My Lips

‘Tis rude but I cannot stop yawning
When words spawn more words in their spawning.

The one who has no clue.
Why is it the light’s never dawning?

Yawn 1

Howled last night –
Oh, what a party!
I’m so tired.

Yawn 2

I’m lucky.
Of all animals,
I catnap.

Never Mind Those Big Teeth

Run, run, run.
Now’s our only chance –
Eyes are closed.
