I confess:
I’m hooked on Texas.
Like the fish.

What a PERFECT Texas cloud! Amazing.
I’ve visited people in Texas often, and I have to say that I don’t really like Texas very much, but if we ever get another radical liberal in office as President and start losing more of our freedoms, I’m depending on Texas to secede, and I’ll become a Texan in the blink of an eye. 🙂
I was taking pictures of the fish and happened to notice the cloud. What didn’t you like about Texas? The area(s) where you were? If so, what area?
Most of the time we spent in Texas was in the Dallas area, and it always seemed to me that the sun was sitting right on top of my head, glaring and penetrating. And there were no really pretty areas. Of course, we were there to visit family every time we went, and perhaps they just never spent time in prettier areas and so couldn’t have introduced us to them. However, my husband had spent some time in previous years in the eastern part of the state, and he told me that there was a lot of green, lush country in that part of the state that I would have appreciated. I just never got to spend time there. I’m sure my judgement of any state is very limited due to limited time spent, so I try not to be too hard on Texas or any place else. And I do admire the spirit of most Texans and their — so far — strong conservative bent.
