During Nanny Nanny Boo Boo or No No Nannette, or whatever last month was in the writing world, I decided to write 90 haiku (far easier than what the others were attempting). And, I did. You’ve seen some of them this month already and more will come, including these.

No, you can’t.
You’re an adult now.
Just once more?

Tinkle, Tinkle, Tinkle
Surprise gone
‘Cause of one darned mouse
And his bells!

* The haiku I write are lines of 3-5-3 syllables instead of 5-7-5.

All good — but it’s the third one that really grabbed me.
I’m getting close to having a book of my poems published. So far everything I’ve had published has been prose, so this is a whole new thrill. But I realized the other day that I have no haiku in the mix. I decided I should try very hard to add at least 2 or 3 in honor of all that I’ve enjoyed over here. Working on it.
Thanks. Are you doing what’s called indie publishing? Will it be a regular book and e-book or both or what?
It’s going to be put out by the same publisher that does most of my other books — a small Christian publishing company — St. Ellen Press. However, I’m toying with the idea of doing an e-book version. I may try that format they have available on the PoemHunter site that does the book for Adobe Reader and see how that goes first. I tend to bog down after dealing with all this technology. Sometimes I wish I could just go back to my good old Canon typewriter.
By the way I found out that there’s a setting that supposedly regulates snow — in the “General Settings” tab, but it isn’t working for my blogs. I went to a forum and someone there was complaining because they couldn’t get rid of their snow. Go figure.
I’m also having another problem that really worries me though. WordPress is now making me sign in all new every time I come onto the site. It used to just bring up whichever blog I was signed into when I left. Now I have to start new every single time, and I notice some of my buttons aren’t working. I hope I haven’t gone through some kind of browser update that has made a mess of things. See what I mean? …. TECHNOLOGY!!!!!
Yes, it’s frustrating. I’m not having to sign in every time, so maybe it is something to do with your computer updates.
