* The haiku I write are lines of 3-5-3 syllables instead of 5-7-5.

A great start to my day. Thanks. I wish I could get some pictures like those. Every time I get almost close enough to get a good picture of some birds around here, by the time they hold still enough to get them in focus, they fly off.
Starting the day by waking up with the birds! 🙂 Yes, photographers who capture those pictures must have some tricks, a station set up, telephoto lens, tripod, etc. I don’t have the patience or the time. 🙂 Since I’ve decided what to do with my project that I mentioned but didn’t describe, I’ll go ahead and describe it now. I’m writing a poem of all 150 psalms in the Bible. I’ve finished 120 including Psalm 119 🙂 so I’m getting close to completion. I’m going to pay $98 to post a sample of them on a Christian publisher website that has a long list of publishers that will supposedly look at it. Earlier, I had thoughts of doing it the old way, sending samples to publishers and waiting and I didn’t want to reveal what the project was since that would be time-consuming and someone else might pick up the idea and run with it while mine was still being shopped around. This way, it will be in the open for publishers as early as next week. Still a long shot since poetry isn’t popular, but I’ll give it a shot. If no one likes it after my 6 month stint on that website, I’ll post them all here.
Hey, that’s great! Be sure and give me the link when you have them up. I wish you great success. That is a HUGE undertaking. Congratulations on being so close to done.
I resent the email and 10 poems to your gmail address so you don’t have to dig so much for the other one.
I sent an email to you with a sample of 10, but I don’t know if you got it or not. Only certain companies and agents can get to them online.
I don’t see an e-mail from you that includes any pictures or information about pictures. Oh, just happened to think that maybe I should check my Spam Catcher. I’ll do that.
No, it’s not pictures, but 10 of the Psalm poems.
Oh, I misunderstood, but I don’t see an e-mail with the poems either. I’ll go back and look again. Maybe I passed over one.
Good ones – used to keep zebra finches (top photo) they are a native here.
They’re pretty ones.
